The Met Office has issued an urgent "danger to life" warning over Storm Amy's 95mph hurricane-force wind speeds. Storm Amy will deliver a bout of destructive winds, starting in western regions on Friday evening, before progressively moving northeastwards overnight and into early Saturday (October 4). ‌
