FORT VALLEY, Ga. — Fort Valley State University says arrests have been made after hazing allegations were made against the school's Blue Machine Marching Band, which caused the university to suspend the marching band indefinitely.
The university also confirms that, due to the hazing allegations, the marching band will not perform at homecoming this season.
Fort Valley State University says that the criminal investigation into the allegations wrapped up and found there was enough evidence to support charges. They say some students were arrested.
The university suspended the marching band shortly after the hazing accusations were made.
"We understand the seriousness of this situation and the impact it has on our community, particularly during Homecoming season," the university said.
