Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich announced the indictment of 22-year-old Charles Mitchell, from Fairfield, on two charges of aggravated arson.
He's set to be arraigned Thursday at 10 a.m.
The incident happened on Aug. 21, 2024, when Pillich the victims were sheltering at an abandoned bank building on Colerain Avenue in Camp Washington.
Pillich alleges Mitchell was in a car when he threw a canister-shell firework near where the man and woman were sleeping. Neither were injured.
