KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - In their latest blog post, Visit Kearney shared exciting updates about the development at the Younes Landing.

The project will including nine new restaurants and bars, locally-owned businesses, and entertainment.

Kinkaider Brewing Co. will open their doors on Monday, Oct. 6. The Broken Bow-based brewery was founded in 2014.

Next door, Kinkaider will open a sister concept, Bierhaus Maisschäler, an Old World-inspired pub.

Embers Bakery & Café, formerly Sehnert’s Bakery in McCook, will open later this Fall bringing coffee and baked goods to the area.

If you’ve noticed some tall poles and netting when driving by the area, you’ve been looking at the development of “The Drop Zone.”
