Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov remarked that such a U.S. move would elicit a necessary response from Russia. He emphasized that no single weapon could decisively alter the ongoing conflict for Ukraine.

Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President JD Vance confirmed that discussions are underway in Washington concerning Ukraine's request for Tomahawk missiles.
