WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- A man was arrested after he was allegedly involved in an armed robbery at a beauty supply store in Southeast, D.C. in August.
The robbery took place on Aug. 1 around 6:10 p.m., when two people walked into a beauty supply store in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE.
One of the suspects pointed a gun at two employees and ordered them to get on the ground. In the meantime, the second suspect went behind the counter and took $500 out of the register, according to police.
A month later, on Oct. 1, a barricade situation unfolded as officers tried to execute a search warrant at one of the suspects, George Carr's, home.
The 22-year-old was eventually taken into custody and charged with armed robbery (gun).
The case remains under investigation.
