EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — A standoff in Evansville on Wednesday evening led to one person being taken into custody.
Evansville police responded to the area of East Louisiana Street and Heidelbach Avenue around 8 p.m. after reports of yelling and a man pointing a bow and arrow at another person.
Officers identified the suspect as Keith Klueh and instructed him to drop the weapon.
Authorities said Klueh partially complied but then retreated into a home.
Klueh was later taken into custody, police said.
Klueh was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon and resisting law enforcement.
