A Virginia man was among the three victims killed in the mass shooting in Southport.
A news release from the city of Southport named Soloman Banjo, 36, of Charlottesville, Virginia, as one of the three people killed when a boat paused by American Fish Company, a waterfront bar in the city’s Yacht Basin, and a sole occupant fired into the crowd.
The city of Southport will hold a prayer vigil at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Southport waterfront to remember Banjo and the other victims.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Banjo was the executive director of client and market insights for Eon, a healthcare technology company. He previously served as the vice president of life sciences and health tech innovation at Advisory Board, a healthcare technology company.
