When asked about the two most important events in world history in the last quarter of a century, most Americans would give the same answer: 9/11 and COVID-19. Interestingly enough, both of these severely affected how we travel.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was founded because of what happened on 9/11, forever changing air travel. Yet, in 2020, COVID-19 also completely disrupted world travel, as people were stuck in their homes for months.

When traveling resumed again, people were forced to wear masks to board planes, and those who didn’t comply were denied boarding. Now, a TSA press release is claiming these actions were illegal.
