The 31st Annual Security Bank USA Lumberjack Scramble held on Aug. 15 brought golfers together for a day of fun, competition and community support.

According to a release, the Scramble raised $68,578 for Bemidji High School and Bemidji Middle School activities.

One of the event’s most exciting moments came when participant Eli Ricke scored a hole-in-one on the designated prize hole.

Ricke’s shot earned him the choice of a $30,000 credit toward the purchase or lease of a new vehicle, provided by Dondelinger Chevrolet GM.

Over the past 31 years, the Lumberjack Scramble has raised more than $1.1 million to support student activities.
