ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - James A. “Jim” Snead, a member of the KALB team for almost 45 years, has passed away.

Snead passed away at his home on September 18 at the age of 70.

He began his career drawing graphics for newscasts and held many other positions at KALB, including graphic artist, camera operator and Master Control operator.

A memorial service for Snead will be held at the chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball on October 3 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. CLICK HERE for his full obituary.
