Our stretch of above-average days continues in North Texas. Temperatures continue to stick 5-10° warmer than normal through the end of the extended period.

As we round out the workweek on Friday, expect highs back into the lower 90s, with mainly sunny skies. Dew points remain in the 50s, which means we have a nice, dry feel to the air.

The weekend will be a nice one to spend some time outdoors — if you enjoy the warmth. Highs remain close to the 90° mark all weekend, and into the first of next week.

A weak cold front does look to approach the North Texas region by the middle of next week, so we could see a very isolated shower chance, but widespread rain is not expected through the end of the extended period, and beyond.

Temperature-wise, our long-range outlook remains above normal.
