Heavy snow fell on Bosnia early Thursday, covering cars and street signs, making driving conditions difficult.
While this year Bosnia recorded one of the hottest summers on record, the early snow surprised everyone, including tourists on Mount Jahorina, just outside Sarajevo.
Some 20 centimeters (almost eight inches) of snow fell within few hours, while temperatures dropped to minus 4 Celsius (24.8 Fahrenheit) in the first cold spell this winter season.
Bosnian meteorological office issued an orange warning, saying that cold and snow will remain for next several days.
