CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - A Carson City woman accused of kidnapping has had her charges downgraded.

Katryna Bell was accused of kidnapping four children, and has now had her felony charges replaced with three gross misdemeanor charges for false imprisonment.

Bell was arrested last month after she was accused of taking several kids from a park and an apartment even though at least one mom had denied permission.

According to Carson Now, Bell is now charged with the misdemeanors even though none of the parents knew Bell. The Carson City Deputy DA says there is a requirement for intent on kidnapping charges, and their office was unable to substantiate claims she intended to harm children.

At least three of them reportedly went willingly.
