After nearly 100 people aboard a 13-day Royal Caribbean cruise reportedly fell ill from norovirus, the ship docked Thursday at PortMiami.

The outbreak on the Serenade of the Seas, which departed from San Diego on Sept. 19, was reported to the CDC’s Vessel Sanitation Program on Sunday.

The CDC reported that as of Wednesday, 94 out of 1,874 passengers and 4 of 883 crew members have “reported being ill during the voyage” and noted that predominant symptoms included diarrhea and vomiting.

Passenger Bob Pettit said he was one of those who got sick: “I’m 87 years old, I’ve never been this sick in my life.”

For the majority of passengers, it was smooth sailing.
