A young woman rushed to the hospital with suspected appendicitis ended up giving birth to a baby boy.

Megan Isherwood, 26, was rushed to the hospital after suffering severe pains in her right side and vomiting up blood.

Doctors at Blackburn Hospital feared she had appendicitis and ordered ultrasound and CT scans. 8

To their surprise they saw a little head and foot and realized that she was pregnant — even though she had taken a test days earlier which was negative.

The bar manager was then blue — lighted to Burnley hospital but on the way she gave birth to little Jaxson who weighed 4.6lbs on Sept 9.

Isherwood, from Blackburn, Lancs, said: “I was speechless — I couldn’t believe what had just happened.
