A highway in the United Kingdom was shut after nine electric cars caught fire on a transporter.
The highway was shut in both directions after nine electric cars caught fire on the back of a truck.
The M5 is closed in Devon between junctions 28 and 29 after the truck was spotted ablaze at 6.30 a.m., Wednesday.
Officials say a car transporter carrying nine electric vehicles had caught fire on the southbound carriageway.
Devon & Cornwall Police advised motorists to avoid the area.
National Highways said they were "expecting this to be several hours as the incident remains ongoing."
