Two people were killed when their hang glider crashed just moments after they launched off a mountain in Georgia, authorities said.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, Sept. 30, the Dade County Emergency Management said in a news release. According to the agency, authorities received a report about two people flying tandem on the glider shortly after it departed from Lookout Mountain, located in northwest Georgia, when the crash occurred.
