HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - The McLean County Homecoming football game against Ft. Knox might not happen.

School officials with McLean County High School state due to the ongoing government shutdown, Ft. Knox is unable to participate in any extracurricular school activities.

Officials state they should have an answer by 12 p.m. on Friday if the game will take place. However, officials want others to know Homecoming is still going to take place at 6:30 regardless of if there will be a game or not. If the game is not played, a dance will start at 7 p.m. and last until 9:30 p.m.
