Department store chain Burlington is set to open more than 50 stores across the U.S. and Puerto Rico in October and November, with several setting up shop in Illinois.
The company said the openings are part of a continued expansion to the more than 1,000 already open locations. The store openings will feature a new layout featuring a "smaller, more efficient design," with most remaining locations set to be converted by the end of 2026, according to USA TODAY.

New Burlington stores opening in Illinois
The chain is opening new stores at the following Illinois locations over the next month, according to Burlington's "Grand Openings" page:
Oct. 3 – Algonquin at 175 Randall Road
Oct. 24 – Chicago at 7507 N. Clark St.
