ST. LOUIS – A woman is in custody after shooting another woman Wednesday afternoon in St. Louis City’s Hyde Park neighborhood.
According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened after 4:20 p.m. on North 20th Street, just south of Ferry.
Officers arrived to find a 31-year-old woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to the hospital and remains in critical condition.
Police put up crime scene tape along the intersection and in the street next to the Bible Church of the Nazerene.
On Thursday, police said they took a 46-year-old woman into custody for the shooting.
The suspect has not been identified. It’s unclear what led to the shooting.
