EXCLUSIVE: Production has wrapped on Super Troopers 3 , the latest installment in the franchise from comedy troupe Broken Lizard and Searchlight Pictures, which has added three to its cast: Sakina Jaffrey ( The Equalizer 2 ), Jon Rudnitsky ( Home Again ), and Lisa Gilroy ( The Studio ).

Character details are under wraps, as is the plot of the threequel. Broken Lizard’s Jay Chandrasekhar directed from a script written by the group, with franchise veteran Richard Perello producing.

In addition to Chandrasekhar, Broken Lizard’s Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske all star once again. Others in the cast include Brian Cox, Marisa Coughlan, Nat Faxon, Chace Crawford, Andrew Dismukes, Hannah Simone, and Iqbal Theba.
