Ryan Huska could become the longest-tenured head coach in Calgary Flames history.

On Thursday morning, the organization announced that they have extended Huska for two more seasons, keeping him behind the bench for the Flames through the end of the 2027-28 season.

With 164 games as head coach already to his name, three more seasons would see Huska pass Bob Johnson, who currently has the team’s longest stint as head coach, with 400 games in the 1980s.
