BMW has recalled over 145,000 vehicles due to a starter motor issue that could lead to fires.

The car manufacturer announced the recall on Thursday, Sept. 25, on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website, noting that altogether, 145,102 vehicles have been recalled. The models impacted are the 340I, X6, 840I, 740LI, X7 and X5 vehicles.
