CLEVELAND (WJW) -- The Fox 8 I-Team has learned an arrest has been made in the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy.

Police confirmed that a 35-year-old Cleveland man, Brandon Simpson, is facing a murder charge for killing Anias Parasido, a junior at Valley Forge High School in Parma.

An 18-year-old man, Noah Gero, is also facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon.

Police said the investigation remains active, and charges or additional information are subject to change as the case develops.

Eric Parasido, the boy's father, told the I-Team that he wants justice for his son.

"He was my best friend, he was the light," Eric Parasido said. "This should have never happened. No reason."
