Braving heavy downpour at Shivaji Park, Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the BJP and the ruling Mahayuti government accusing it of corruption and opportunism and undermining the interest of Maharashtra and Mumbai. He warned that if the BJP managed to win the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the city could be “surrendered to Adani.”
Thackeray promised to bring a white paper exposing alleged corruption in the BMC, and took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi , RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and Maharashtra’s leadership, while asserting the Shiv Sena ’s commitment to protect Mumbai ’s identity.
