A Highland Township man accused of fatally shooting his fiancee will face an Oakland County Circuit Court judge for possible trial later this month after his case was bound over from 52-1 District Court following a preliminary exam Thursday.

Michael Devon Webb, 22, is charged with first-degree premeditated homicide for the April 15 death of Rachel Renee Wooten, 23. The shooting happened shortly after 4 p.m. that day at the couple’s home in the 200 block of Maple in the Highland Hills mobile home community, officials said. He’s also charged with possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
