To open or not to open?
That’s the question this weekend as the Rogers Centre gets ready to host its first playoff games in three years. Some might tell you that the Blue Jays ’ fate will be decided by matchups, hot streaks or luck but the numbers suggest it might also be hanging on the roof.

The comforts of the dome were good to the Jays this year as they sported the best home record in the American League at 54-27 for a .667 winning percentage.
The team went 27-10 with the roof open, good for a winning percentage of .729. The team was still successful with the roof closed, at 27-17 in 44 games for a .614 winning percentage, just not as good.
Who makes the call?
Unlike the regular season, when the Jays made the call, Major League Baseball decides on the day of the
