A Florida cosmetologist and his sister allegedly ran a fake dental practice in Orlando for years, with the pair going so far as to shave down people's teeth and place veneers in their mouths in exchange for thousands of dollars, local officials say.
One woman said that Carlos Rendon and Yorlady Rendon allegedly treated developed a bad gum infection in her mouth after receiving veneers that were too big, according to local Fox affiliate WOFL .
"[The woman] wanted to cry because of how they looked," investigators told the station.
