The Montgomery Regional Airport has started its $5 million baggage claim renovation project.
As Action 8 News has reported , the project will be funded through the Airport Terminal Program (ATP) grant from the Federal Aviation Administration and will bring a more modern, efficient and passenger-friendly environment for baggage retrieval.
Over the next 18 months, the airport says it will replace the existing baggage claim with two new, state-of-the art baggage systems designed to improve speed and reliability.
