INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD officers are investigating a shooting that critically injured a person Thursday afternoon on the near southeast side of Indianapolis.
Officers responded to a report of a person shot near the intersection of Wagner Lane and East Raymond Street , near South Sherman Drive, around 3:15 p.m. Oct. 2.
When officers arrived, they found a person who had been shot. Medics transported the gunshot victim to a hospital in critical condition.
Police said one person has been detained, although their involvement, if any, will be determined by detectives as the investigation continues.
