It was a Jackson family reunion at Paris Fashion Week.
During an appearance at the Tom Ford show on Wednesday, Oct. 1, Janet Jackson was spotted attending the event alongside her niece, Paris Jackson. Paris is the daughter of Jackson's older brother, singer and "King of Pop" Michael Jackson.
For the fashionable occasion, Jackson wore a sleek black ensemble that included a leather jacket and a floor-length skirt. Meanwhile, Paris looked equally chic in a long-sleeved black dress with a high slit.
The women appeared to be over the moon about the sentimental catch-up, with one photo showing Jackson and Paris Jackson hugging each other tightly.
This isn't the first time Janet and Paris Jackson have shared their love for one another.
In an October 2022 Instagram post, Jackson shared a photo of herself with her niece Paris at an event, writing at the time, "So good catching up with my beautiful niece @parisjackson "
Paris Jackson has also made her feelings for her superstar aunt crystal clear. In May 2018, the singer-songwriter set the record straight after she received social media criticism for not attending the Billboard Music Awards, where Jackson performed and received the Icon Award.
"Dear social media followers, friends, stalkers, lovers and haters, and fellow moonwalkers: Please do not tell me/demand/try to control how I handle my relationship with the people in my life, specifically my family," Jackson wrote on her Instagram stories, per People magazine and E! News.
"It is no one's business but ours," Jackson continued. "I understand that some of you feel some sort of connection or need to be a part of our lives considering you watched us grow up. However, I am handling my situation exactly how my father did. And I am happy keeping it that way.
"I will always have love and respect for my family. ALWAYS. There is nothing more or less than that, that you need to know."
