NBCUniversal (NBCU) programming is staying on YouTube TV, for good this time.
NBCU and Google , YouTube TV's parent company, announced to a multi-year distribution agreement on Thursday, Oct. 2, according to a news release. NBCU programming on networks like Telemundo, Bravo, E! and Syfy will remain on YouTube TV under this agreement. And Universal Pictures Home Entertainment movies will continue to be available to rent and purchase through YouTube TV.
Neither NBCU nor Google shared the financial terms of the new agreement.
The two media giants had been going back on forth on an updated contractual agreement, butting heads on terms and rates. On Oct. 1, NBCU and Google came to a short-term agreement to tide them over until they could reach a longer deal.
