MILWAUKEE — A woman accused of causing a crash that resulted in the deaths of two Marquette University lacrosse players is heading to trial.

The incident occurred on Sept. 5, when Amandria J. Brunner, 41, was allegedly driving while intoxicated near the campus.

Prosecutors stated that Milwaukee police obtained video footage reportedly showing her behind the wheel of a pickup truck at the intersection of N. 27th Street and W. St. Paul Ave. As the southbound light turned yellow, she presumably accelerated into the intersection. A Jeep, traveling approximately 53 mph in a 30 mph zone, was involved in the crash.
