ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A Palm Harbor man is facing multiple charges after police said he caused a chain-reaction crash in St. Petersburg and then ran from the scene.

According to investigators, Johnerik Track, 28, was driving a 2012 Dodge Ram westbound on 1st Avenue North Sunday, Sept. 28, when he slammed into several vehicles stopped at a red light at 16th Street North. The impact pushed the cars into one another, injuring at least one driver.

"I knew I had nowhere to go with the cars in front of us, I just thought this is it, one of us might not be walking away from this," a victim of the hit and run told 8 on your side.
