Two people were hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a stabbing in Flushing, Queens, according to the NYPD.
Police said they were called to 45th Avenue and Smart Street for an assault in progress and found a man and a woman with stab wounds.
Both were taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Their conditions were not immediately known.
A person was taken into custody at the scene.
Police did not say how that person may be connected to the victims.
The investigation is ongoing.
