KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City man has been found and arrested more than a year after he allegedly stabbed a man multiple times over the belief that he had killed his baby.
Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Tuesday, Sept. 30, indicate that Jovan A. Conaway, 23, of Kansas City, has been charged in connection with a 2024 stabbing.
A probable cause statement filed by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that just before 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 17, 2024, emergency crews were called to the area of 11th and Grand Blvd. with reports of a cutting.
When first responders arrived, they said they found the victim lying in the middle of the intersection. He was taken to a nearby hospital with several stab wounds.
