AN MLB franchise has revealed big changes after disappointing stadium attendance for the 2025 season.

The MLB team shared a statement about this season's poor fan returns.

The St. Louis Cardinals , who are one of the MLB's most storied franchises, failed to make the playoffs with a 78-84 record this campaign.

The franchise hasn't made the postseason since 2022, and fans showed their frustrations this season as a result.

The Cardinals saw their Busch Stadium attendance drop by 628,108, the MLB's largest decrease.

There would be plenty of empty seats at numerous Cardinals games, with social media users calling the scene "embarrassing."

The decrease was larger than the Tampa Bay Rays and the A's, both of whom moved into minor league stadiums.
