Clark County Public Health on Wednesday lifted the danger advisory warning of toxic algal blooms at Vancouver Lake that had been in place since July.
The most recent samples collected from the lake show that toxin levels are no longer elevated.
The Oct. 2 press release from Public Health reminded swimmers and boaters that conditions could change. Those recreating in or near the lake should be vigilant and watch for floating scum. Avoid contact with the algae and water nearby.
Public Health will continue to monitor algal levels in local waterways. The latest advisories are posted at clark.wa.gov/public-health/public-beaches . Tags Diseases Vancouver Lake Water
