MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A Dane County nonprofit reported arrests made Thursday morning in Madison by immigration officers.

The arrests on Madison’s northeast side were reported to the Voces de la Frontera emergency hotline, according to Facebook posts from Centro Hispano Dane County and Voces de la Frontera.

Centro said it confirmed seven people were detained at one address in a targeted enforcement.

This is the only confirmed reported of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity in Madison, Centro Hispano said.

Madison Police Department said it is not their investigation and it could not comment on the activity. MPD referred WMTV 15 News to the Department of Homeland Security.
