"General Hospital" will soon be making its return to daytime TV.

The show, which normally airs new episodes on weekdays on ABC, was preempted this week on Tuesday, Sept. 30, Wednesday, Oct. 1, and Thursday, Oct. 2, due to the network's coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs.

However, “General Hospital” stars Maurice Benard and Steve Burton just assured fans the show will be returning to ABC this Friday, Oct. 3, in an Instagram video the show posted.

They said, "Hey, guys, I know you've been missing 'General Hospital' this week, but we have some good news. We're back tomorrow. Tune in."

In the comments, fans raved about the show's return.

"Thank Christ! It feels like 3 YEARS have passed," one person said with emoji including the crying-laughing emoji.
