The Brisbane mother who was found dead alongside her eight-year-old daughter in a multimillion-dollar Airbnb in Brisbane’s west has been described as an adventure-loving and hardworking woman who often mentored the next generation.

Police forced entry into the Kenmore Hills property to perform a welfare check about 1.45pm on Monday when they made the grim discovery.

Dr Tiffany Wilkes, 54, and her eight-year-old daughter were found dead at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing, but their deaths are believed to have been a murder-suicide.

The alarm was raised by a colleague who received a scheduled email from Dr Wilkes about her plan, The Courier Mail reported.

Friends said Dr Wilkes was a fan of hiking and mentoring the next generation.
