WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco man who impregnated a Waco teen in 2022 was sentenced to eight years in prison Thursday.

Damiun Waraire Stillwell, 31, pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child in a plea agreement with the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office.

As part of the plea bargain, prosecutors declined to prosecute Stillwell on three counts of violation of court orders that were unrelated to the sexual assault charge.

Judge Thomas West of Waco’s 19th State District Court also issued a lifetime order preventing Stillwell from contacting the 15-year-old victim in the case, who, according to arrest records, acknowledged to police investigators that she was in a sexual relationship with Stillwell.
