TUSCALOOSA, Ala. —
Julia Sosa, chairman of the Tuscaloosa Latino Coalition , leads a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the community through mental health assistance, cultural training and translation services.
The coalition also operates the Welcome Center for Tuscaloosa City Schools' New Heights Community Resource Center.
Last year, Sosa highlighted the significance of providing resources for students and parents in her community.
