VDOT says work to repair damaged beams to cause overnight closures on bypass

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Multiple damaged beams need to be repaired on the Old Ivy Road bridge.

The Virginia Department of Transportation reports three beams were damaged in Monday’s accident involving a commercial vehicle striking the bridge.
