Fire displaces families at Corsicana shelter; no injuries reported

An overnight fire at the Compassion Corsicana House of Refuge displaced five families, including eight children. No injuries were reported. The shelter, which supports women and families escaping domestic violence, is receiving aid from the Red Cross, Salvation Army, and other local groups as fire investigators work to determine the cause.
