AUDRAIN COUNTY, Mo. - Five students and one adult were taken to the hospital following a school bus crash Thursday morning in Audrain County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the school bus crash—which involved a truck—happened just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Audrain Road 853 and Audrain Road 845.

MSHP says the truck began to slide, which caused it to then hit the school bus, which had eight students inside.

The bus ended up flipping on its side, but officials say none of the injuries sustained are considered “life-threatening.”

Audrain County School Bus Crash Troopers are investigating the crash.
