Edinburgh Airport has been named Airport of the Year and The City of Edinburgh Council won the Active Travel Award for the £17 million Roseburn to Union Canal project.
The event was held in London to celebrate outstanding achievements in the UK transport sector and was hosted by journalists Jeremy Vine. More than 650 people from national and local government, transport operators, suppliers and industry bodies attended.
Lilian Greenwood MP, Minister for Local Transport made a keynote address praising the innovation in the industry.
