KINGSTON, N.Y. — Sophomore Hokai Liu shot a 2-under-par 34 to lead Rondout Valley High’s golf team to a 171-188 victory over visiting Red Hook in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) match at Wiltwyck Golf Club on Monday, Sept. 30.

Rondout Valley golfers who contributed to the win were Stevie Schwartz (40), Hudson Paley (43) and Joey Sweeney (54).

Red Hook was led by Caiden Heeney, who shot a 43. Other Raiders’ scores were posted by Mack Boyd (44), Chase Kabat (48) and Cam Misasi (50).

Saugerties 158, Roosevelt 174

At Staatsburg, Ty Monroe shot a 1-over 36 at Dinsmore Golf Course to lead the Sawyers. Brandon Simmons (40), Danny Armstrong (40) and Kate Smith (42) also contributed to the win.
