WICHITA, Kan. (WICHITA BUSINESS JOUNAL) - The owner of the Crown Uptown Theatre appears to be requesting to update the zoning for the nearly 100-year-old building after previously being rejected by Wichita City Council to increase the venue's capacity.

Tulsa developer Mike Brown, the owner of the College Hill building at Douglas and Hillside, has applied to update the building capacity, coverage area and gross floor area ratio in the planned unit development for the property.
